Comcast Cable TV

Lowell Cable Television, (LCTV), owned and operated by the City of Lowell (MI), allows us (WLHS) to broadcast our streaming audio onto channel 20. Lowell Cable Television was started in 1982, offering about 13 channels to subscribers in, and around, the Lowell area. Since that time, the number of channels has increased to about 130 and, at present, LCTV has about 2000 subscribers. The goal of the City of Lowell was to offer cable television at less cost than other area cable television systems. Lowell is only one of about five cities in the state of Michigan that owns, and operates, their own cable TV system.
